Starter Motor Brush Source

Hi,

Intending to replace the brushes on my 4AGE starter motor and having problems sourcing replacement brushes.

Not available from Toyota any more and Repco etc have no alternative parts available.

So can anybody suggest where they are available ?

Or what alternative brushes can be easily modified to fit ?

Have not had a chance to try a gd Autoelectrician suppose they may be able to help.

Apologies if this is already covered somewhere have searched etc.

Grab the yellow pages & ring around.

I'm an Auto Elec, give me the brush dimensions and i'll tell you the part number you need to ask for at your local Auto Elec.
