hold ur panties OC, i'll get the st202 ones done soon![]()
r33 front calipers added to front page now.
very similar to z32 caliper in many dimensions (as expected)
*note all measurements done with tape measure (need to buy verniers one day) so give or take 1mm here or there. i have tried to make them as accurate as possible, but using a tape measure and having a cast on one hand makes it a lil more difficult

Celica ST202 Caliper

i'll get some pics/measurements of the corona twin opposed-pot calipers, and the 4runner 4-pot calipers(solid disc) soon.
nobody's been putting the offset of the calipers in their measurements. i mean mounting surface to disc centre.
great work guys.![]()
beer me!
in r33/z32, the mounting surface face to the gap that the rotor goes in is flush
therefore the distance can be derived from half the gap the rotor fits in...if that makes sense.
rx7 has the measurement between where the mounting surface and where the gapstarts for the rotor so again you can derive the measurement to the centreline of the rotor.
although i will chuck the thickness of the mounting lug on the r33 one...22.5mm in case you wanted to know sooner (z32 probably the same).Rx7 already has the lug thickness
Can anyone supply me with all the pics and corresponding dimensions for the R32/Z32 rear twin spot calipers?
Thanks guys.
Jez
How does one get hold of those ST202 calipers?
Are they on something here in Australia or are they one of those in between models.
After St162s I get lost with numbers.

ST202 is a japanese model of the local ST204 celica (the four round lights version celica).
the brakes themselves i obtained off a friend who had a half cut in, however there was another person on this forum who had a pair, though he didnt say where he got them exactly.
you could try asking some japanese importers if they have the brakes in, or a half cut from a st202 that has the same brakes. just check that the brake part number is the same to be sure. these brakes also came standard on one of the caldina GT's in Japan. have a read of this thread too,

cheers
Thanks da_horse,
These twin spot ST-202 ones may be a direct swap for a Magna single spot caliper I use on a couple of my brake set ups. I must now measure the magna ones.

To cut to the chase, does anyone know if any of these calipers work as replacements for the TA22 calipers? Or are these mainly those with RA23/28 struts doing the brake upgrades for them?

neither or all
they are dimensions of calipers to get an idea on spacing and brackets required to get them to fit to whatever strut/mounting system is in your car, also what the clearances are to rims and whatnot.
For instance the bolt spacing on the nissan calipers is the same as the bolt spacing for the brackets on the ra60 so spacers are all that is required to get the bracket to fit.
the bolt spacing for mounting calipers in an ra28/3/40 is diffent so a suitable bracket to accomodate for the calipers is required.
It is simply a visual representation guide to see what would be required to fit to the car and also what clearances would be like.
