does anyone in syd have an accurate weighing device? I've got supra 4-pots on hubs at the moment, and could very easily do all these measurements while waiting for my f!*king car to arrive :\

Nice job. More should be posted like the first two. Newer Celica, etc.

I have a set of R33 GTR front calipers, real Brembo. Would you like pics and dimensions of them?

Interesting to note is that the rear caliper mounting holes on a MA6x is 160mm center to center. Just 8mm smaller than what you posted on the RX7 calipers. Too bad they would have been a nice upgrade for the rear on a MA6x.

Hey, I'm hetro but married just bring them over or give to ED, they've been used for the UZ anyway. And she can't complain, they're my scales.

Yus please on the pics, dimensions and weights.

and it would be even more interesting for you to note it is actually 158mm not 168mm, so it is actually only 2mm different (the caliper mounting points being smaller)...does that make it less of a shame?

I'll take pics and measurements the best I can on the R33 GTR Brembo calipers later this week. I also have a set of '90 Z32 NA front calipers, 4 piston. They look the same as the rest, but for NA this year only they were narrower and used a 26mm disc versus the 30mm disc on all other cars made any year. Nice thing about them is they leave more room for wheel spokes.

I thought it said 168mm on the pic. I should have looked closer. Are you sure it isn't 160mm? Did you try the RX7 calipers on the rear of a MA6x? Who knows? It might just fit. 158mm seems off, all other calipers on jap cars seem to have those mounting dimensions to an even 10.

Please try it. It would be a cheap rear upgrade because there would be no need to fabricate an adapter bracket. Just need to find the right disc.

unfortunately the calipers have been moved on and i don't have a xa6x to test with.
I measured it about 3 times with my ruler because i wanted so desperately for it to be an even number but i couldn't fudge the ruler to look correct
although it was just a simple measuring device..to give a general idea, hopefully my measurment is out for that bit

Cool1 should have a pair lying around, he could verify the distance for all...actually i will post on ausrotary and find out if it is correct...bear with me.

I've got a set of brembo evo 8 calipers I'm using on my ra28 which i would love to share but I don't have the programs or the skills to mark out the dimensions on my computer. If some one could mark them out for me I'll supply the photos and measurements.
