    Default AW11 4agte inlet manifold

Well thanks to the input from everyone i have decided to ditch the sc14 idea as the car will mostly be used for circuit work. So we have decided to go with a TD04 setup because we have be offered one for next to nothing
Picked up a complete liberty RS w2a cooler setup today for 280 bucks ( heat exhange, ater pump and cooler) so pretty stoked with that price.

Anyway, as far as intake manifolds go, my best bet is just to use a FWD 4AGE bigport inlet maniold and throttle body yes? is there any problems with this?

yes most people remove the gze inlet manifold and swap it for a full ge one. you need the t-vis plate as well, and can either remove or keep the butterfly valves (i removed them).
though there have been some fellow aw11'ers in the us that have retained the so called crud deisgn gze inlet manifold and placed the TB onto it and acheived good results from their 4agte. here's one i know of.

here's the dyno, you can see by the list he has done 'other' mods.

I'm using a small port head with GE inlet manifold, seems to do the trick.
Alot of people say to use the bigport head when go turbo but when I look at factory turbo cars like evo's they start off the same. Early ones use bigger ports then they go to small ports. I don't think either will make a massive difference unless you were really starting to spend the big bucks.

im a bit of a newbie but how come some of the TB are facing toward the back of the engine on some aw11s? Is this manifold only on the aw11s, as a normal RWD GE manifold would be facing the other way??

4AGZE intake manifold vs. the normal side-facing Bigport one.
The above opinion is just that - my opinion. It is not shared by any business that I am currently or have previously been involved with, nor any of their employee's.

Rwd points to front of motor - fwd points to gearbox.
    Easy.
