    Default restricted exhaust on 3T-GTE?

hey guys, got a custom setup for my RT132 corona powered by 3T-GTE. It is a 2.5 from cat, has a hotdog and rear muffler. I was told from factroy the dump pipe is really resticted and i should get a custom one made up which will increase respnoce and power. Has anyone done something similler?

The factory dump is 2 inch, it is a bit restrictive. If you have the stock turbo and manifold then 2 inch is fine. I have a GT25 BB turbo custom manifold, 3 inch dump and full 3 inch exhaust and its made a massive difference.

It hard to say for your engine without knowing the mods, so it all depends on the overall set up. General rule is to create as little restriction as possible on the exhaust side...

    Cheers,
