Their (adaptronic's) forums don't give too much away, but do suggest that VVTi is now supported. Interesting...

I can confirm it does work, I experienced it first hand on the QLD Distributors car a couple of years ago, not quite as easy to setup but you can use some of the information available from other ECU manufacturers to give you a head start in the config settings. The Vipec/Link G4 software has some decent info about trigger offsets and duty cycles required for the vvti operation.

alright, the haltech is way out of budget. The sport 1000 will run vvt for $1850 (long fly lead) and the sport 2000 will do every thing you wont and more but for $2400 (long fly lead).
he didnt say anything about the e11v2 so im thinking its not that flash at running vvt, or its just too old for him to mention. ( as its not current)

the adaptronic "sounds" good but its such a new unit, i would wait for better backup.
i would like to try one on a dual vvt engine and just play.
i dont have a funny or cool signature.

If you think a Microtech is ok, you need your head checked

No closed loop cam control = no good anyway, so although I can get an EMS8860 at a good price it's not going to do the job

    And Microleb? Yeah..... No thanks

I was just reading the E11v2 manual, the cam control actually looks pretty comprehensive (if somewhat painful to set up and configure)

Maybe I can find one of these cheap with the new Platinums out...

hmmm holy shit haha. It sucks becuase everything is that much closer (cost price) to that other thing that is better, if you know what i mean.

well im out of ideas, if i find a e11v2 or sport 1000 2nd hand ill let ya know.
have you rang some tuners to ask how they find the e11 with vvt ?

    god speed.

Not yet, might give Yavus at Unigroup a buzz tomorrow and see what he thinks.

PFCs are good and cheapish, but you have to keep the AFM

Ive had 2 of these engines in the past, one run by a PFC, one run by a motec M600. They both did a good job of controlling the vvti

Check out the specs and software, it does a hell of a lot and from all reports it does it quite well.
