86 ae86 headlight problems

I searched before I made a post, no one has mention of this problem. My headlights wont quit going up and down, if you turn on the headlights they come up and down about 10 to 15 times before the finally stop, and when you turn them off they do the same but stop in different positions every time. Anybody else have this problem and if so how did you fix it?

sounds like a earth problem to me check the wiring

wiring came back positive, no broken connections, no aftermarket installations, no corrosion, its getting 12v+ when switched on .... im stumped on this one, this is the first pop up headlight car i have ever worked on

Do you have the electrical wiring diagram for the trueno? If not send me a PM with your email. I don't have pop ups, but it might be something like a shot relay. I've got diagrams for LHDs with pop ups.

ive looked at the diagrams once before and thats when i checked all the wiring and power sources... i guess im just going to replace the retract module and the conrol relay and see what happens if that doesnt work then i will use the diagrams to replace 100% of the factory wiring
