In my younger days a 3 litre might have been nice.
Like the body shape better than MG.
We had a Austin Westminster 105 when I was a kid, got spoilt with the available torque it's 6 cyl had. Probably part of the reason.

With the health issues these days I'm more likely in line for a wheelchair, LOL.

Well I have to say, I had a fantastic time.

You never quite new what car was going to pop up under the next sheet or be hidden away around the next corner.

The knowledge of these guys was amazing and they shared it with the group so easily.

Thanks so much Ian, for getting us in. Unfortunately i had to leave just before 10pm, but managed to get in the panel shop, paint shop and restoration room before that.

    Cheers!

I think after a while, they assume, but just tolerate it.........

Especially liked the paint guys story about the customer getting his $5000 per month housekeeping allowance money from his wife and restoring his car with it and maintaining the household. Then when she found out, she gave him $5000 per month for housekeeping, and $5000 per month for the car restoration!

My wife laughed at me when I got home and asked for my allowance.

Anyways, top night, thanks for organising it Ian. Not often that such skilled guys share their knowledge like that.
