I'll call Canberra Connect during the week and see if its possible to get day rego on a car that doesnt have any license plates and has never been regoed in this state.

If all goes well then I'll have a car to bring to this event

I'm pretty sure they will give you a 24 hour pass but if you get pulled over just say you have it booked into Ultimate Tunes for mechanical work.
