    Default RA2x wheels

I am in the process of doing up my RA23. I have the front sorted with the age old Corona/Hilux set up and was looking for options on a budget for the rear as my centre is shagged anyway and would hit me about $400 just to get it reco'd.

My question is about what stud spacing to go for as its makes no difference seeing I have to change the Volvo PCD anyway. 4 x 114.3 is like hens teeth. Ideally would keep the original PCD if anyone has ideas on bigger wheels but not too fussed if I change it.

I currently have 14" BBS style wheels and am after the best size to go for visually (don't like the hot wheels massive wheel look), for handling, availability and cost. Eg Commodore PCD, 5 x 100, 5 x 114.3???
    After a classy/restrained look.
Yes the old Celica's are great cars thanks..

Also consider if the volvo diff will be wider so that will effect your offset choice also!

4 x 114.3 is like hens teeth?? I would disagree. Guess it depends on what kind of wheels you are after, as well as new or second hand, and sizes. I have had no trouble in getting a couple of sets of nice 15x7's in the standard pattern and could have got them new or second hand.

some ideas for you that suit the old girls

or there are stacks of different options available second hand - one of the best sources is www.ae86drivingclub.com.au - they boys there are changing wheels more than they change their undies

For what I can gather the Volvo conversion only adds a bit so not too bad.

Will check out those links and see if anything fits the bill. 16's would be nice :-)

Nothing there that floats my boat. Miniltes are cool I guess but not the look I'm after. The 5 spoke Volk style is nice

...most silvia choices should be suitable as theyre +35 from standard

....I have 4x114.3+50 in an 8.5inch rim (CRX offset) in anticipation of a hilux diff Im not going to shorten!!....I thought thefronts would be cancelled out by my hilux pug conversion (adds 50mm of track) but I have to run 5mm spacers up front to clear my struts....so the maximum you can run is a +45 at least in a 8.5inch wide application...

    ...hope this helps!!
Rotaries are cool...so why are their owners such cocks>>?
