Was an awesome weekend as always, big thanks to all the officials who spent hours organising the event. Also a big thanks to clint for organising the coffee meet on saturday and the accomodation.

It's always good to catch up with everyone and talk shit and despite the rather dissmal Sydney weather the turnout for the show was fantastic.

Dinner last night was great, although Lowenbrau just doesn't seem to have the same vibe as recent years. Pretty disappointing that during octoberfest they didn't have any games organised be it drinking games or just random things that make it different to just going to a pub for dinner.
    If in doubt power out

Pretty sure a lot of people feel the same way about their cars dude. I really don't think that is the only reason people enter cars in shows though is it? You have a very cool car. I reckon I have a few cool cars too, as was every car there in it's own way (except for the Supras ) I don't think shows like this should be a competition. It's more a showcase of the cars that are a common interest for us all. Recognition in the form of a trophy is nice I suppose but recognition in the form of people commenting on how much they like your car especially from peers is much better I reckon.

Having said all that, I had a great day (won $53 in the raffle ). It was great seeing such a good turnout on such a shithouse day.
A big congrats and thanks to the Board and everyone involved for putting in a Trojan effort.

    Cheers, Greg.

True that! i was rapt with the attention my daily corona wagon got with so many people asking me about it and commenting on it. Appreciation by peers and other enthusiasts on your hard work is the real trophy award anyway.

    HI Guys,

Great day out, I was worried we wouldn't get much of a turnout due to the rain, but it was awesome.

Really enjoyed catching up with people I'd not seen in ages.

Somehow managed to miss running into Ed, Dong & only caught AE92 briefly, just too many people and cars.

Glad the Supra kids made a great turnout. Also good to run into all my old MR2 buddies again.

Sounds all cheesy, but it's not just the cars at these events, some great folks to talk to out there aswell, looking forward to the next one.

Looks like a decent turnout given the circumstances. Do I take it Dong made it, with car?

I look forward to next year, so much work to have it ready

    Hi,

    Dong arrived without car.

He likes to think his car days are still active and vital, but alas, they are not.

Why are the Supras getting singled out here? Can anyone point me in the direction of who won the trophies and how we can match to the cars??

    GREAT DAY OUT!!!
That 1G RA60 made my day it's awesome. I was expecting this show to be for the elite group of completely restored/modded cars. I had'nt ever been to one so naturally I thought what I just said. Next year I'll put mine on show. You may have noticed trim missing well that is either sitting in a box next to me painted or waiting to be painted. I've still got my stock manual 21R-C engine under the bonnet. I'm still on my red P's but when I get my full licence I'm putting in a 3S-GTE or at very least 4A-GE.

I FKED up when I parked there anyway I was thinking since it's a sunday their will be plenty of spots so I could park like I did but well I was badly wrong. I was going to get it out until my dad said he'd get it out. So after a 37 point turn and 10 minutes of pulling mirrors back and near misses we got it out without a scratch. I am never ever going to be so damn stupid to park like that ever again!

It's funny my father is not really into cars but does know alot. He loved this show because of the celica 77 liftback's since in the late 1979 him and a friend were driving a 77 down to canberra doing 160km/h nearly the whole way down. Who ever owned the metallic blue RA28 he thought your car was fantastic.

Who on here owns that ST162 which was parked near the blue RA60?
