Great day guys it was really good to catch up with so many people and put a few more names to faces. Looking forward to '10 already.
Cheers,
I'm really disappointed that I missed this event this year, damn flu, still trying to kick it before the drags for tomorrow.
But now that this is all over, I thought I would ask the question to see if it is true.....but someone has told me that there is a possibility that next years Toyota Nationals will include shownshine on Saturday morning, Motorkhaha Saturday afternoon and then back to the 1/8th mile on Sunday.
Can someone confirm this yet, or is it still in the hands of the Dubbo City car club?
1997 Toyota Supra RZ - ??? rwkw

Fonzzy got any??
I got some at home i'll upload, but i have pretty shocking camera skills....
i got two dodgy ones
that was the car right?? or do i fail?
YOU FAILL!!
hahah that was mark's ke30...Marty's was the really bright one with leather interior...
blah they were both orange gayrollas to me
this might make me unpopular, but i was actually fairly disappointed to see all those old school rollas with nissan engines in them, after last year i kind of expected it, but apparently my brand loyalty is stronger than i thought

trdee,
I dont think anyone could call any of the tough old schoolers the Rad Rollers brought down Gayrolla's. Unless they were trying to hide something.
And yeah I know they are mostly nissan powered but like or hate the engine choice you have to take you hat off to the effort and build quality.
Martins KE30 that won best of show just got better and better the longer you looked at it. And for those that bothered to look, The undercarriage is detailed too.
It just beat out a tough black JZA80 Supra for Best interior
It was runner up in Best paint and panel.
And it was a clear (but close) winner in Best engine bay due to the insane level of detail gone into the build. Even he block was polished !!
And its not trailer sailor either. It gets driven.
It was not a surprise at all for it to Get Entrants Choice which for me is really the top award of the show. Best of show by the judges is one thing, But best of show by your fellow entrants is walking pretty tall.
I have to say, This years Toyotafest was the Hardest ever to Judge with some finalists vehicles being checked over repatedly to find a flaw or fault to decide the winner.
The Best engineered Award was that close the judges are getting a runner up trophy made for the vehicle which came second and are looking at if we can finance runner up trophies for some classes next year.
I know Dav already posted it up but a huge thanks goes out to the Clubs, Entrants and spectators who supported this years show and made it the Highlight of the Toymods Calendar. We are already planning next years event and look forward to some sunshine and seeing everyone there.
