1ggte has air in the cooling system

Hey guys I have been having a problem with my 1GGTE lately. The car does not over heat but it has air in the cooling system and it pushes the water in to the overflow bottel but does not suck it back to the radiator. I changed water pump, radiator, radiator cap, done TK test and a pressure test and nothing showed up, there is no oil in the water or verse vices. Could it be a BHG or cracked block/head ?

Just a silly question mate is your overflow bottle lid on the correct way???
If there is two outlets on the lid it has to be the right way round otherwise it will do that!!! I did it on my JZA70R after i took it down the drags and did the usual trick of a coke bottle on the radiator overflow! I put it back on the wrong way round.

i was suspecting the same thing as my lid is broken after my tuner shut the bonet on it. i have been looking for a lid so i can test it out but i cant find it anywhere..
