Default Exhaust for 1ggte, how to quiten down

hey guys, gonna have a go at building my own exhaust ststem for my 1ggte powered jeep.

iv had to go with a 2.5" downpipe from the turbo dumps due to have no room, now i was wanting to know if i should just have the whole exhuast 2.5" or go to 3" from where i have room (about half a meter of 2.5" then 3" ??)

what should i use to quiten it down ? a coby ? muffler ? im not having a end muffler just a straight pipe out the side and i dont have much room to put in many mufflers inline.

need help asap as im going to get the materials today

I'd be inclined to go 3" cat. I had a 3" straight through muffler and it was acceptably quiet, could comfortably have a conversation or listen to music.
