    Default Fuel system

My current priject is doing a turbo conversion on my 3rzfe engine. I will be running a gt3582r turbo, a motec 400 with cdi unit plus a pwr intercooler and other bits of crap.
But ive not worked out the fuel sytem to suit. Plan is to run 15psi max but mostly sit on 12 psi as its my daily driver.
But the catch is it must be able to be further upgraded in the future easily as i'll continue working on the engine internals to handle 20psi+

Now ive found a little diagram that i think may be useful. What types of pumps will i need?

For the pump to the surge tank, almost any pump will work... even the existing in tank pump.

For the 'VL' pump I'd suggest you'd be much better off using an 044 This pump needs to be a high pressure pump

    Cheers

+1 for the bosch 044, it should supply the engine with more than enough fuel to support the amount of air a GT3582r can provide.

    cheers

with myne i have fuel tank to a carter 72gallon/hr 5psi lift pump- surge tank- 044- rail then back to tank. all 3/8's line.

theres no point buying this for now then that for later, just save ya self some coin and buy what you think you will upgrade to becuase within a few days of 12psi you will want 20+.
i dont have a funny or cool signature.

Next question is How would i wire them up
Iam guessing running a second relay for the high pressure pump and branch off the signal wire from the other pump? and have them running at the same time? or would i need to run the second pump on a switch .

You definately need to have them both running. Also, for something this important make sure you solder all connections. good luck with it
