It still uses the stock AFM yes. That said AFM's have proven to run to at least 200rkw. Theres no point in just getting rid of it for the hell of it, you do it for a reason ie remove the restriction to go higher power.

Yea that is an option but doesnt it still use the stock maff? main reason to do this is to get ride of it! lol. preferably id like to go stand alone but dont have a couple of grand spare with this engineering going on

It is to remove the restricion, ive heard poeple use ba falcon afm?? or was that just the air filter lol.. The turbo on the car isnt even getting to its power usage! lol 280-475 hpone and cars only makeing 240 maybe a bit more lol. so as little restriction and a bit of toying with id be happy.

I think your on the money for stock management. Blake ran his with a 3071r with a .48 housing and that was at 190kw at about 12 psi on stock management. The VPC isnt worth it mate. Get the car engineered and rego'd then fit an adaptronic or something which is a million times better than a late 80s early 90s piece of equipment which you wont able to get tuned properly.

What makes you think the AFM poses any restriction?
