[QUOTE=big_zop;1047939]That was a great cruise, even if there were a few close calls The guys that headed back early missed out on some good roads, nice work there Stitty.

Dont knock the 4-door crew, nothing can compare to the awesomeness of the X-chassis

Got plenty of tyre clearance on mine, I just need a manual trans!!!

Anyway, here are some pics. Wish i took some more of the real twisty stuff so maybe next time. Also need to play with the settings a bit more, as i really like how the last one came out.

No pun intended for the X chassis's in fact i love them.
    used to have a +400rwkw MX83 with 2J.
and i think Z chassis and X chassies are pretty much the same...
just would have liked to have seen more 2door toy's turn up...

    Well what an awsome cruise

I think I may change the meet up point next years as we keep having issues at homebush @ P6 and a such.

It was great to see a few old faces and many new ones. We had about 15ish cars at homebush. We headed out towards Richmond from Homebush with a re group at Kellyville to pick up a couple of other cars. From Kellyville it was out through Windsor and Richmond and over towards Penrith. We then headed up the mountain via way of Spring wood road. No problems on the way up nor at the top. At the top we bumped into a few locals. From there as it was a little late a few people headed home via the GWH, the rest of us 7 cars headed up to Mt. Victoria then accross to Bell and the back home via the Bells line of Road.

Was a fantastic run home with only 2 4wd's we came accross. As it was said was great to have a 4 door/import car sort of run. Everything that was left there was one non import and one non 4 door.

No body has mentioned the "S" chassis yet mixing it up the the Z and X on the way home. ara ara was really impressed with how well your soarer gets up and moves but more torque then my 1uz.

Overall a great night out the guys that went home early missed out, but we'll see you all at the fest and Mega cruise

No this time, it was blue and white and blue and yellow (Bulldogs vs Parramatta Semi).
But for the mega cruise it is blue and red, just not in the way you are thinking (V8SC at Homebush).

Not trying to diss the S chassis either Stitty, you were hustling it along very well!

ara, i hope you are keen to put up some info on your old MX83, definitely sounds like an animal of a car. And Mega cruise always brings out a lot of every car.

Of course. Not being down there I tend to forget who's playing where, but yay Eels. First time ever coming from 8th in finals series to getting a spot in the GF.

But this doesn't help when there's already hordes of other's cars there and you're hoping for a fairly vacant meet-up point.

    thats pretty much it

P6 hasn't been free for ages and its getting hard to predict. I think we might move carparks at homebush or totally change all together

Stitt I'll get a map of the area we used to park at during SCR cruises (damn that was a while ago) and see if that's an option. From memory there's now an adjacent parking area across the road, so there's options.

The RED area is where Sydney Cruise Registry used to meet up, but later on the YELLOW area became open to the public as a gravel carpark. Now it's obviously been sealed, the only question is getting access to it. Either or both are able to fit ample cars for an initial meet-up.

i can't realy tell you what was done to the 2J internally myself since it was a built engine from one of the tuning houses in japan.
my mate used to run it in his chaser but he crashed it on Wung gun in tokyo.
cost me over $10k just for the engine and motec.
all i know is that it was running twins with about 25psi.
turbo manifold and dump was all custom made, ran on a supra six speed, lsd.

it's a no brainer mr Stitt.
considering i think my soarer is about 200kg lighter then your crown .
    but our cars run differently.
the tune in my 1U will run up to 8K rpm with most of the torque and power kicking in about from 3.5k to 7k rpm.
it used to have a SC but due to a misshap ,lack of fund it's running in NA with a SC tune...meh...
but i'm still wowed at how well your crown ran......
good to see another 1U member leading the pack of #J pack.....he he he
