Yep test run confirms all is well, after the drags I will remove the screamer and it will be a good cruiser.

It's so good when it all comes together easily.

Test ran the ET's on the street but I guess they need alot more heat before you really see them hook up. Actually I know they do. Anywho I've got the helmut and long sleeve clothing and car ready all nice and early, hope it stays ready.

Dont stress about reaction times at all. They are irrelevant to your ET anyway ie the time doesnt start until your car leaves the line.

thats why u see big laggy turbo cars happy to sit on the line and stall it up

ill show u tomorrow night while i sit on the line for 10 seconds making all this racket and everyone will be bitterly disapointed when i release the brake. My car sounds like a VN commo with a leaking tyre whilst im trying to stall it up

so what time we meeting there again? Ill be out the front of the gates at 430 parked to the left.

I got the car back together with springs and tires on just now. Doesnt feel fast, maybe im used to the power, or maybe its going into some ghey limp mode cause its getting a bit warm...

HOpefuly both issues fix themselves...

Anyone got a thermostat for a 1JZ handy? If so, bring it along. I might be a pit lane mechanic! Just need a tent

Guys with bringing your kids its all well and good but eastern creek in the middle of winter is a farking cold place especially at night. bring loads and loads of warm clothes for them and yourselves if you are watching. last time i went to watch in winter i was wearing trackies under my jeans 3 shirts a jumper and a jacket and was still cold.

Still though, the car doesnt feel fast anymore, just feels, kinda... normal?

Will do a once over on all clamps (though it is making boost still), and i will get someone to watch the timing as a give it a few hits on the way out. Noticed it was getting upto 38degrees, but i think thats on decel. Accel i saw only about 10-13...
