hey guys i got this ecu in my new car i bought. its a mess. pretty sure it aint one of the stand alone wold ecus i think its a piggy bak. but thing is it has a hand controller that shows everything like one of those microtech hand controllers
so any1 kno wat kind this one is

Have a chat to Wolf (Advanced Engine Management) they should be able to give you the info you need.

i got a manual 2jzgte ok. and the ecu runnin it is a auto7mgte + this wolf ecu. i dont get it.

It just looks like a Plug and Play Version 3.
Available from Wolf AEM for a lot of different engines.

nah i just found out the the 7m ecu is just sittin there not wired up.. looked wired up to me, but yeh apparently is a standalone wolf

nope gonna rip all that stuff out now fix up all the wiring and chuck in a microsleb for now. it will do the job for now.

What are you going to use the Wolf V3 on ? you will find that if your using large injectors it will be hard to get a stable idle as there adjustments are very Course , it willbe OK above idle ,The wolf V4 is the opposite there is Fine adjustments

Agreed, Its a V3.whatever..
Youd have to contact Advanced Engine Management in Bayswater, VIC, but you may be able to get the software upgrade for this still, which makes it a more friendly computer at idle, a lot closer to the V4 setup at least.
I run one in my corolla with a few mods, (no forced induction) and it does the job as well as i could hope.
1991 model car + 1996 computer = cheap engine management.
AEM can also supply a new loom and sensors as required.
