    Default 1992 camry 2,2 died

    Hi

a friends 92 camry 2,2L just died driving home. Car gets no gas, took the fuel pump out and checked it, its working fine. No fuses are blown. Thinking it might be the fuel pump relay or something, but we dont have a spare to swap and try.

anyone has any suggestions? should we just get a new fuel pump relay, or is it something else we should check first?

we also ran the diagnostics, no codes are stored there, shouldnt it come up if it really was the relay?

Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions

    Hi

No, theres no fuel coming outa the hose/filter, so it seems like something aint turning the pump on?

Older thread, but still worth posting to.

Try direct wiring it in tank, see if you get fuel to the rail then. If not, then check for clogged filters/breaks.

If that works, then yes suspect wiring/relays.
