so my question is, does any1 know of any1 that would do it for a reasonable price. im thinking like 30-40bucks.. this seem a fair price??
p.s also asked about lengthening the wires on the AFM 40bucks was the qoute..

Don't waste your money.
Sell it to someone else.
They are a pointless invention for petrol cars.

Hi,
If the instructions came with it, just follow them and it shouldn't be too hard.
You don't need a Turbo Timer unless you drive foot to the floor before your driveway, then shut off the car immediately. Most turbochargers are water cooled, so you wouldn't need a turbo timer, as when the engine is shut off the water circulates through the turbocharger and cools it down.

You might want to call Vicroads first. I think turbo timers are illegal. It's not part of the construction rules but some general law provisions about leaving a vehicle running without a competant person being in the vicinity.
I find turbo timers are a good tool for maintaining the life of the turbo.. Oil is fair better at heat removal then water, and if you track your car alot like most people do you wanna be sitting around waiting for the turbo to cool down ?
Just shop around to you find someone cheaper, it doesnt have to be that urgent..
Do you honestly boost your turbo all the way down your street and into your driveway?
No, you don't, you drive like a normal person for at LEAST the last 30 seconds before turning the car off, which is more than enough time to cool the turbo down.

it only took me about half an hour to put mine in. just using the instructions, it involved some soldering and then plug and play!
