If your serious, then the answer is NO!. If your trying to sound like a wanker you have teh win!
p.s usually tough to fit a rwd inline 6 into a spave designed for a transverse 4.:O
GA23(never finished-now with cracked block) JZX83 (Tyre eater) 3sgte AE86. by now i should know better.
should bolt in bro my cousin did it last week
lmao...................
easily done,..... the factory manual box bolts directly to the 5m block, tho you need to use a 4age fly wheel and clutch setup,
the front engine mount holes need to be elongated as to fit the 5mge block,
you can use the tailshaft from a toyota century as the right hand CV shaft and it bolts up fine. the stock left hand shaft can remain, but is the weak leink in teh system due to the massif torque of the 5mge,
you can re-use the factory 4a wiring loom,...you will need to add 2 injectors (if your using an efi 5mge),
pretty staright forward conversion, alot of info is available from www.boostcrusing.com ........those guys over there know there shit!.........they have alot more technical knowledge then we do,
oh, we need pics aswell, to keep tarck of your progress.
Is it school hoildays again??????
like i said fellahs, its another one of my schemes. its for a paddock basher so i dont give a shit if it dont work.
serious???umm...dont think its hols yet bud...why you ask??should bolt in bro my cousin did it last week

why......this forum has a 'no bullshit' type policy....... you will learn it pretty quickly, but if you come to your senses you will learn its also a very good site for toyota technical info, and help,Originally Posted by Little Rippa

I have my doubt that what you are thinking about is possible within the reason of cost.
Anything is possible with money, however the basics are
You need a FWD bellhousing to fit the 5M-E
You need to customise the mounts to fit the 5M-E
and you need to cut the corolla in half down the centre and widen it to physically get it to fit.
Bolting a 4AGE with be easier / Cheaper and you end up with pretty much the same power.
Cheers
Simon
