safc1 or upgrade

my mate has a safc 1 hes gonna put into his jza70, he wants to no is there much advantages to upgrading to the safc2 or neo? or just stick with this version till he upgrades to full aftermarket management down the traCK. his car is just running the usual mods dumps,zorst,cooler ect only reason why he wants to know is because people are telling him there will be little to no gain using this version safc

safc2 has more tuning points available than the safc1.

SAFC 1 has 8 Tuning Points and SAFC 2 has about 12, Also the tuning points on the SAFC 2 can be changed, where as in the SAFC1 they are at set rpm points.

I say it's not worth spending the money to upgrade from a SAFC to another SAFC, save up and get something like a Power FC, which are available for the JZA70.
