    Default Toyota fuel pumps LPH

Hi all, I am trying to find out what the lph are on various Toyota fuel pumps, specifically an ARISTO and MA61 Supra

What are you trying to do? I wouldn't bother with any MA61 pump now considering the age of them and how cheao a replacement Walbro is and probably the same deal for the Aristo. I'm guessing the Aristo pump is similar to a MK4 Supra pump cosnidering they have the same engine etc. If you are building something performance orientated then a new Walbro is the way to go rather than trust old second hand pumps. A new fuel pump is cheap insurance. Hope this helps.

Fitted a walbro awhile ago on my st185. Lasted about a week. Hummed like a mofo. Fuel economy went to shit. Stalled at idle (even after removal of fuel pump relay so it ran constant volt) So i ripped it out and put the old one back in. Id recommend either spending the dosh on a supra twin turbo pump ( i got quoted $500 from toyota, flows aswell as a walbro but is a denso pump that can handle bot voltage modes) or getting and external system made up and use bosch pumps. Just my two cents.

My question wasn't what I should do, but what these pumps are flowing.

I've already made my choice, pump is installed (as per emergency repair via parking lot) but I would like to know exactly what the lph are compared to stock.

it seems that NO ONE can get me this information which I would have assumed would be somewhat well known knowledge with the turbo crew... apparently not..

    Is it 230lph, 240lph? 260lph? what?? .

The only info I could find on the mk2 supra (back in the day) was 155lph, which sounds in the right ballpark for a petrol hog like the 5m-(g)e... but it is OLD, and probably not flowing that much these days.

For the aristo, ge or gte?

The reason no-one really knows what the ma61 pump flows is we all stick large turbo engines in them and throw the old pump out

    No promises......

once injectors are known... multiply by 6... then add 20% for wear and you should have a decent idea of volume needed...

as she said twice... she doesn't need to know what is *needed*, just the flow rates of what she *has*

dunno sorry, my stockie flows at about 190lph depending on age. If its the same pump then that might help lol
Oh and if the replacement is either a 341 or 342 then your new one will flow at 255lph. but you prolly already knew that.

hehe, I figured that much, but also figured that SOMEONE would know what an Aristo fp flowed. I do not know if it's from a GE or GTE. The pump was given to me on a cross country trip across the USA as a spare, which I eventually changed a few hundred miles later in a parking lot.

It just bothers me to no end not knowing everything I should about the car, especially parts that I put in myself. I cannot believe I can't find this info anywhere

Why don't you just measure the flow yourself and then you'll know for sure. Run it for 15 secs into a measuring jug and then times it by 4.
