    Default Celica Brake Rotors

    Hi all,

I own a ST160 (according to the build plate) Celica Import, I am having trouble sourcing front brake rotors as the only listing I can find is for the ST162 which I think was built in the same year but these have a different offset from the hub to disc surface and dont line up with the caliper and are also thicker than that of the 160.

I am wondering if this is a common problem and if I have to upgrade to the ST162 brake caliper/bracket.

    Thanks in advance

    Chuck

Any chance of you measuring the offset from the hub / disk rotor size / thickness? This would help in finding something that might bolt up, or is very similar.

Otherwise, you might find it easier to simply grab some ST162 struts and swap them in.

Here is a quick run down of the available Celica rotors from DBA

    Hi Spectre

Thanks for the reply, the disc measures:

    Dia. 243mm

Face of hub to disc surface 29mm, 740 (ST162) disc is 26mm (B - C as per disc chart)

Approx. 19mm thick, minimum thickness 17mm as stated on disc and is at that now.

    4 hole stud pattern

    Thanks
    Chuck
