    Default 2TGEU sensor question

I'm trying to identify one of the sensors on my 2TGEU, there are two sensor plugs located near the thermostat. One is the water temp sensor, but what is the other one (Brown plug). from the wiring loom it appears to connect to the cold start injector. Anyone know what sensor this is - Air temp or another water temp?

I'd say you've answered your own question - most likely a water-temp sensor which triggers the cold-start injector when cranking if coolant is below a certain temp. 4AGE has almost exactly the same setup.

    Above is correct.

Its the cold start injector temp switch.

Thanks for the link, I think you may have just inadvertantly answered my 3SGTE question too.

GREEN = water temp sensor for ECU
BROWN = cold start injector timer switch.... dont bother with it IMO.
