Yeah there was a mkIII supra for sale at u-steal-it but has gone now.Thought about buying it for the 7mgte but thought that it if Im gonna do a conversion 1jz is the way to go..7m would become a money pit to make reliable horsepower.Theres no substitute for a newer engine with better technology and engineering.

a 1jz is just easy and reliable to start with. but a well built 7mgte can be even better

except for the money required to build such a 7M you could go and buy 20 2JZs

Yeah would be a more expensive exercise in the long run with the 7m im thinking.

Still confused as to which 1jz donor vehicle is the best for my mx73 and that also has reasonably good availabilty and isnt a x81 front cut as they are pretty hard to come by and getting rather old now.Its always the way...the easiest and best option is always the most common and hardest to find!.
