    Indeed!

I can have my head in a furnace while my feet are in a bucket of liquid nitrogen, and, on average, my temp should be fine.

was talking about forum removal rather than club removal. if someone has paid the fee and gone through the paperwork then im pretty sure they arent joining just to sell shit

and yeah the stats can be misinterpreted... but sometimes it can be reeeeaaly obvious

ever heard of a extra ord meeting or are you clowns just shooting from the hips it sounds like no-one has really read the constitution or club guide lines, the club is not that bussy that it cant process a membership within a timally manner.
Come on people its a good club lats not run it into the ground b4 it really gets going

The club often cannot process memberships in a manner that some people call timely purely because they have lives outside of the club - the work they do for the club is entirely voluntary and outside of any other commitments they have in their lives, such as paying jobs, family, and other personal reasons. Thus, a measure of respect and patience must be given, and yes on occasion some people do fall through the cracks, everyone's human, and generally if you inform the board of something missing or overdue etc they will rectify it as soon as they can.

You must reach quorum within a given time of the meeting's advertised starting time to be able to vote on any propesed business (I think quorum for toymods was 15 members?). For constitutional changes (as these would require) it's more strict.
on another note it does state that a general meeting can be run by minimal attendance as long as a majority are willing to proxy vote for those that dont know that means you can nominate someone to vote for you in your absence, giving you the numbers to pass rules and changes by calling for an extra general meeting, and for the record these can be called by anybody on the board with a second vote backing them up, anytime.
Remember the big picture people you are a club for fun, not profit, and to benifit all wishing to join.- sorry about the spelling..

With little improvement in membership and less at meetings.i think it would be a good idea to have out of state membership, they dont have to be available to attend meetings just voice there opinions to those via proxy who can attend.
River, i have been around the traps for a long time and followed the progress of toymods since its inception on the old site i thik it has improved but could do better, OK you have the clows that just want to shoot off at the mouth but there is some people that realy care about the club that are not members and i will admit i am one , its not the fact that i dont have a working TOY but its back in AUS ready for my return in 12 months.
There is a lot of people out there who have said a lot, lets get off our backsides and do alot more, i will be honest when i get back i will be applying for membership and apply for a position on the board, come on guys and gals, i have a family as well im not as young as others but at least im willing to try, has anybody heard of take up the challange or are to many people scared of starting somethingthey cant finish,it goes by the old saying " WORDS ARE CHEAP, ACTIONS GO FURTHER".., This club has the potential to become great, come on everybody giv it a go..

you cant really say that when all you are doing is talking yourself. granted you are overseas, but till you are here and on the board actually doing something to make a change then it's a bit rich to tell other people to pick up their game isnt it?

and no i'm not doing anything atm either. I like you, cannot make such a commitment just yet because I am too busy, just like a lot of people here.
