forgive me if this is obvious in the above pics (IE settings at work don't allow some hosted images so i can see if it's pictured)
just so everyone knows.. a AWD E series box.. eg - GT4 half cut leftover.. which no body except GT4 owners want.. (or AE95 corolla owners as they run an AWD E5X)
all it has on the driver side shaft is an extension housing with an 'axel' inside.. to the centre diff.. you can pull this off easily, and put on the plate with a axel seal from a 2wd E series box..
you will see what it looks like.. it's like the box was always intended to be used as a AWD box.. but then they thought hang on.. we can slap a plate there.. and run a shaft straight out of that! instant 2WD box!! it's like a half inch ally plate.. pretty easy to make and machine the surface if your despirate..
