she goes pretty well on the track. i did s low 1.26 at sandown. that was just on my crummy street tyres so i think there is a few more seconds in it when i eventually get semi slick, oh and better brakes would be nice to, which im sorting out next week...

did a 1.58 at the island under the same conditions, and i managed just a 1.42 at winton so far. however when i was at winton i only got about four clear laps, as i had some turbo issues on the day...

so although i know the 6 hour is a regularaty event, im still going to try and bust out a couple of hot ones on the saturday pratice!

Hey guys,

Embroided caps with the celica "dragon" are being made as we speak. They are a high quality flexfit wool blend baseball cap. Not a cheap, run of the mill cotton cap. They actually come in sizes - S,M and L - But they have strech in them. Most will be medium or large. The design is basically the dragon symbol (white outline) with your choice of red or blue on the inside. There are only 20 caps in total. 10 in red, 10 in blue. Half med, half Large - except for one small in each. Cost is $26ea

Team shirts are a high quality item too. Alison (Classic Celica team manager) is organising a different style of shirt for girls - As we have a few volunteers, supporters who want something a little more...girly. So, if you are interested in those, let me know and I'll pass the details to her. We will be co-ordinating with her prior to placing the order.

I'll just add my piece... please take the time to double check the sizes. The shirts we brought to the information night are actually a different shirt to the one we are now going with.

What we need people to do is to use the measurements listed in Ed's link rather than the size name. Don't assume that the S, M, L etc. is the same as a normal S, M, L. Go by the measurements.

Test and tune day is on this Friday for those interested. This will be a good time to rattle out any bugs and clock up a few laps before race day.
