    Hows everyone going with prep?
I've got today off to get some work done..

Need to fit new lower control arm bushes
    Flush brake fluid
    Check wheel bearing tension
    Change wheels to track ones
    General check over
    Wash

Should be all good to get done today.. Only problem may be finding the lower control arm bushes.. Only found out last night they are shagged.

Need to wash car, change gearbox oil, pack tools and off I go.

I have a big fold out gayzebo I can bring too. I used it in rally days and think it still works......

Put new Yoko AO48's on yesterday so will need some track time to cycle them and bed them in.

Whats the go with all stickers etc, is that all happeneing out at Winton.

I wont be out to motel until about 8:30pm I would think (tomorrow night), so who can I call?

    Thanks all.

LOL... I'm a drafty by trade and got in trouble from an architect when i labelled his gazebo "gayzebo" on a plan as a joke. I thought it was funny still.

I got a couple of emails from Ed last night and it would appear that the white 22 might actually get done. The last photo was taken at 4am and was of the 22 with a fully assembled engine residing in the engine bay. After they got the valve stem seals yesterday, Andrew and Ed worked well into the early hours to get it done.

I am just posting the accommodation details again.

Could everyone please make sure that they have the cash for the accommodation with them. I didn't ask for it beforehand because i haven't yet had to pay anything, but it'd be good if i don't have to chase people up when it does come time to pay. Since i'm staying at the Glider City Motel, the Comfort Inn people will need to liase with the manager there and work out how they plan to sort out keys and payment etc.

Does anyone know whether we are supposed to have open ended wheelnuts? It completely slipped my mind, so I might have to get a set.

My car is ready to go... but comparing it to everyone elses, I haven't done oils, I haven't given it a wash, and I haven't flushed brake fluid. I'll be the guy stranded out on the track with an underprepared car

I have never read anything about open ended wheel nuts. My car didn't have them last year, and won't this year. Have passed a variety of scrutiny checks through the year so should be all good.

Good work Joel! Be good to see ya again. Hey, do you do your alignments yourself?

About the lunch/food thing, is that just for lunch on saturday and sunday?

    Cheers,
    Timbo

I confirmed with Trang and the assumption is that we'll be buying maccas for breakfast and whatever else for dinner. The food thing is for time spent at the track. It includes drinks, hot food, cold food, nibbles etc. Basically the idea is that you won't have to go near the kiosk.

I got the shirts today... Talk about cutting it fine. The printers bumped our order a couple of days and took out the buffer that i had built in. Anyhow. They look great! I think everyone will be happy with them.
