4agze topmount help

Well guys I'm looking to upgrade the intercooler on the ae101,
ARC I think sold a dricet replacement but sadly they no longer make it. So any suggetions as to what will fit snugly under the standard scoop and rubber sourround.
I don't want to go the front mount direction due to delay and exteme lack of space for piping without cutting and want to stick with Air 2 Air.
I would have no problem in making custom brackets if needs be...........

i seriously doubt you will find another exact fit. except from another ae101

yep water to air is the bomb once its all going it puts the air to air to shame in my opinion, if you dont want to go water to air you would spend less time fitting up a front mount then trying to find a direct replacement for what you have.

If I go the subaru W2A route will it remain a topmount and has anyone fitted it to an ae101I've seen a aw11 mr2 fitted on here but there is no hood scoop clearance issiues involved in that !!!!!!! will it have to be a front mount............

you can mount the intercooler where ever it wil fit
i would say over the gearbox would be the best place for it.
the heat exchanger (water radiator) goes in front of the engine radiator.
then put on an N/A bonnet for maximum stealth

i have seen somewhere on these forums bout someone showing in detail someone doing it in a ae92 so it would have the same problem with hood clearance, but as my revhead say you can put them where ever you can fit the bastard as the arent the same set up as the normal top mount
