ta22 rev tacho not working

my ta22 tacho stopped working last night, light still works but the needle doesnt rev up only when u start tapping it. checked all the connections all good.

Simplest thing (apart from a dodgy wire in the bay) is that they just die of "old age"

Happens with 34yo parts sometimes.
