    if it's what I'm thinking of, it utilises the sprint track AND the skidpans, and looks like awesome fun...if I'm around for it, I'm in

    -Robin.

    Edit: they booked another group on the track? That's shithouse! We've always ensured that we get the full day and the full pan to ourselves. Like you said, it's very much about organisation. People need to be ready to run and sitting in cue for a couple of cars before they go out, otherwise it turns to shambles.

    The sprints I have done do the entire skidpan + track, though the skidpan parts are usually a 2 - 3 gate slalom. The 9th of August only has the AM session available as I think a car club booked out the PM session.

    The supp regs for the autotest are here

    <Ctrl + V>
    EVENT TYPE, STATUS AND DATES
    The Auto-Test Championship of WA will use both skidpan 1 and skidpan 2, and here after referred to as the ‘event’. The event will run on the scheduled dates as per the published calendar. No straight will be over 140 metres in length and only one car on each course at a time.

    Event details:
    Each round consists of six challenges run on a sealed surface of approx 700 to 1350 metres in length. No course will have a straight section of more than 140 metres in length without a significant change of direction. Each course has been designed to test the acceleration, braking, and general manoeuvrability of the vehicle, along with the skill and judgment of the driver. All runs count per round and your worst round for the series will be dropped. There will only be one car at a time on course.

    This sounds like it could be fun...
    Done a couple of skidpan sessions and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd be good for most Sundays except the Targa West weekend.

    If you need numbers I'll be in with the Focus for the days that I'm around (work are prone to sending me away with hours notice...)

    Thats the track at midvale speed dome. They use cones to blank off parts and make differnet courses.

    I am still in for AHG. I prefer saturday.

    Stomps can you check your dates?
