I've organised a handful of these in the past, the best way is to limit it to ten cars. This way they only need one instructor, so the cost per person is almost the same, and you get a LOT more track time. If you want to have 20 people, book it as a morning/afternoon session...

It's a great laugh, everyone starts off serious and then it deteriorates into handbrake turns and ridiculous challenges...

My advice to whoever organises it: get money BEFORE the day. I learned that the hard way.

    yeah, cheers mate..

There is no way I would accept on the day payments..

Pay up front, once paid if you pull out, no refund, your responsibility to find someone else, if you can't, tough shit...

As for 10cars, we did that a while ago, but they booked in 6 other cars and a second instructor anyway, which was gay coz it was a ford gt club and they just wanted fast straight courses...

I'm happy to have 16 entries, that way more people get to have a go.. You still get a fair bit of track time... But you just gotta be organized... Keep in the same order... Be ready for your run, and don't be a twat (ie static burnouts, donuts... Etc) with 16 people we got 4 runs each of the first two circuits and five runs of the final circuit...

The instructor said, generally with 16 people they get 3 goes at each...

So, if you come, don't be twats, be organized and you'll get lots of track time...

From an organising point of view, my gearbox is fine, so I'll get back into it.. More details soon

    Speaking of August -

Anyone interested in doing the MC motorsport Autotest thing on the 9th of August?

I have done a couple of the sprints before, but i have never tried the Autotests.

    Gene? Anyone?
