1uz stalls when coming to a stop after decel

You can test to make sure its working by cruising at 80kph+, and then lightly touch the brake pedal (enough to turn the brake lights on, but not enough to engage the brakes).
The revs should rise 200-300rpm as the torque convertor unlocks.
Take your foot off the brake and the revs will come down again.

yep - thats the one!!!
On the old 4AGZE's, that's the ELS2 pin, and same colour. Connect to the brake light switch that gets 12V when you press brakes.
