    Default Albany Classic Weekend - Albany, May 30th - Jun 1st, 2009

    It's on again:

State Round of the Motorkhana series
    Albany Classic
    Mt Clarence Hill Climb
    Windfarm Hill Climb

A great weekend away, to either compete or just spectate. Anyone else interested in heading down for the weekend?

I'm keen to head down this year. Got any specific plans or just organise own transport, accomodation, etc?

Jenelle and I are keen - been too long since our last trip to Albany and motor action.

Better be quick if you need to book accommodation bearing in mind its a long weekend.
We only booked in last week and had a little trouble.
There are still a couple of spots if you want to compete.
    Should be a good weekend.

Yep, I'm not sure if I want to tackle the long weekend traffic/drivers. But unless someone says there planning group accomodation, I'll start looking into it.

Then whether we go or not will boil down to what we can find.

Also don't like tackling traffic at 50kph on 100kph roads!
Make it an extra long weekend, go down on Thursday and avoid traffic.
We have booked accommodation from Thurs to Mon night.
We are racing on Sat & Mon so Sat night will be a big one.
    Big motorsport & party weekend!

It's not what you know, it's who you know! - 3 bedroom plus lounge B&B - sleeps 2 couples, 4 singles, plus lounge fold out.

If anyone needs some where to park a car/trailer let me know, got a size able back yard, 3 sheds if you want under cover.
***Just thought i'd put this out there coz i know some places don't have much parking space, unless your staying at a caravan park where they don't really care how much space u take up.

Just don't have enough space for housing anyone :-(
I'm about 5kms out of Albany (Gledhow).

Should be a good weekend, looking forward to it!

EDIT: Warning: Yard is full of Nissans! lol

Jenelle and I have got the Friday off, so we'll be driving down then Clint.

Thanks for organising the accom and giving me a call. Just confirming, you've booked the accom for Fri, Sat and Sun nights right?

Organised us for that Mini Club 50th social too?
