    Very much so.
I've got better things to do than sit in a car for 3 days looking at squat.

The man does have a point. While undoubtedly something I'll do later on again, I too can think of better things to do than drive the 3 days to Radelaide.

It's nearly 2800km dude. Sure you can do it in less if you want to drive through the night (and risk roos). If you don't want to do that, you're driving 1400km a day, which even at 140kph is going to take you 10 hours.

I'm with Peewee, I'd like to a) get there, and b) get there with my license.

    Toyota Fest Website

We usually make it into Sydney on the Friday prior to the Show day, crash someone's BBQ or make our own plans, Saturday is spent getting cars ready and crashing someone's BBQ again, Sunday is the car show and Lowenbrau dinner in The Rocks, Monday is a recovery day, Tuesday is open, Wednesday is drag night at WSID, and Thursday we think about heading home. Sightseeing, travel, freinds, family, parts chasing, ..., all get a run too within the week or so we're in Sydney usually.

For those of you considering it, I'm going to start looking into accom, airfares and freight again shortly - reply here if you're interested, so I can guage initial interest?!

Oops. I suck at the googling.

Sounds good. Now I am pondering freighting car to Adelaide as well.

How many days to drive from Adelaide to Sydney?

And after toyfest do you just freight car from sydney to perth? and fly back?

How many days all up is that?

If any of you guys get freighted to Adelaide, I'm keen to go over this year. Can arrange pick up at airport, then join the convoy.
