Boost and Knock Sensor?
The codes are two digits each... there should be a longer gap...
2JZ, for reference... I don't have a 1G listing, someone may have.

I have the check engine light come on at about 2500rpm, usually comes on when it gets to operating temp, car boosts fine until the light comes on and it all turns to shit.
Checked the code and have no idea what this means???:
Flashed 3 times, pause.
Flashed 4 times, pause.
Flashed 5 times, pause.
Flashed twice, pause then repeat.
Anyone know?
Cheers.

Here are the error codes for the 1g-ge, should be the same for a 1g-gte.
It looks like the error codes you are getting are 34 and 52, and both of them are not on the list
However if we take a look at the error codes for the 7m-gte :
http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Librar...aspx?S=FI&P=28
Code 34 is "Turbocharger Pressure is abnormal".
Code 52 is a problem with the knock sensors, "Open or short circuit in knock sensor signal"
So just like Wilbo said, Boost and Knock Sensors.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the help!
Knock sensor makes sense, as one of the plugs had a chip and made it a loose fit and i think i know what is causing code 52.
Cheers!
I found a copy of the 1ggte repair manual in Japanese on the old forums. If you know some who can read Japanese......... Code 52 has something to do with 2000rpm.
Code 52, seems to be my main problem. I re soldered on of the knock sensors when i replaced the head gasket as it had snapped from the loom, i assume i have cocked that one up and it is causing the problem.
When the car is cold, boosts hard, heats up and then as soon as i touch 2000rpm the code appears and the car goes to shit.
Time to rip the loom out and fix it.
Cheers guys.
Well, it turned out to be that one of the knock sensor plugs had a piece of plastic stuck in it, stopping it from being plugged in properly.
Now, here is where it get weird. It drove fine, perfect for an hour and then suddenly CEL lights up and the issue starts again. Got it up on the ramps and all looks well? Both are plugged in.
Does it matter which plug goes to which knock sensor, i have a feeling that they are going to each others sensors???
Multimeter tested the wire i re soldered, tested fine, the other plug needs to be tested yet.
Tried a different ecu, same shit.
From my gf basic understanding of japanese, it says 'engin sensa.....2000rpm' for code 52. So maybe it isn't the plug but the knock sensor itself. Post up the Jap and see if anyone can translate it. PM you email address and I'll send you the file.
PM sent.
Its time for a new motor anyway, bearings are tired, head is tired and everything in between.
Sick of lack of power![]()
Wires test okay, i'm going to wire up a resistor, not sure how much resistance it needs to be but i will try 1M.
I'm not usually this dodgy but the current engine will be replaced soon.
