ta22 sound system wiring

recently bought a 72 ta22 everthing original and i am trying to comnnect a pioneer unit in it and i don't which wires are which...
please help!!

There really isn't much... just a power wire and two wires going to a single speaker, that's about it... ground is a cable eye to the dash frame IIRC

yes but what colour is the battery wire and acc wire

buy a test light for approx $6. connect neg to body earth, and try each pin. battery power will light the test light constantly, acc wire will only light the test light after you turn the key on.

First - DO NOT cut the original dash if it is uncut.

Black = Ground
yellow = Power
red = accessory

IIRC.

if your talking about on the car, well thats not too hard either.

You can trim power off of any 12v power source on the car (or just the power from the original radio if your not planing on using that) Pretty sure my accessory is from the original radio too.

remember, do not cut the dash if it is uncut and has the original radio. If you don't want the radio there, take the dash out, sell it on here and buy a cut dash from ebay or here.
