    Default TA22 full dash removal

    Hey
I was just wondering if anyone knows how to get the entire dashboard out of my ta22? I've already taken out the whole instrument panel, heater, glove box and wiring, and undone all the bolts that look suspicious but it just doesn't want to budge..

the dash is made of steel and is part of the car. the only way to remove it is to cut it out.

you can remove the "dash pad", the instrument cluster, the glove box compartment, etc...

There's little steel rods that poke thru the dash with clips holding the rods. You have to pull off the flat clips, then lift the front most edge upwards until all the rods are out, then pull it rearwards and off.

The dash pad can stick to the steel dash underneath.

got it off in the end, but it wasn't pretty... it was so sun damaged it was like trying to pull off wet paper... looks like i'll just be making a brand new dash pad :/
