    Default Aftermarket Keyless System

    Hi
I thought about time to fix my daily '93 3vzfe camry's keyless system. Being old a replacement key from Toyota is around $350.
The key has 1 button on the side for unlock/lock but the button broke off from previous owner.
I want to install just an aftermarket remote and fit it to the existing central locking

Now I need a wiring diagram where to connect this aftermarket unit.

    Thanks in advance.

It's easy. I installed one in my '82 MA6x a few years ago and I only had to hook up 6 wires from the unit. Three to ground, one to battery power (I got from the radio) and the last two to the master lock/unlock switch on the center console. '84+ Ma6x models have this switch on the drivers door.

Just hook it up to an equivalent switch on the Camry or just the drivers lock/unlock switch. All you have to do is figure out if the switch grounds on either side to lock/unlock the door or you need +12v. Get a short piece of wire and ground either side of the switch, it should lock and unlock the door. If not try +12v on either side of the switch.
