Definition of a swap meet:
“Swap meet is a place where vendors come to sell or trade their goods. The goods are usually automotive parts, more commonly practiced by the Hot Rodding Community Both here in Aus and America. “

So get all your 2nd hand and unwanted Toyota related bits and parts including anything else that a Toyota fan would be mad for and come to the Hachiroku.com.au 1st Annual 2009 Toyota swap meet!

It is free for both Vendors to sell and for buyers to buy!!! So in this time of Economy crisis it makes sense to come to the 1st Annual Hachiroku.com.au Toyota Swap meet Recylce and grab yourself some bargins!!!

We will also be giving out a Trophy for Best Car of the day.

There will also be a BBQ and drinks for sale so come with some cions and get some grub!

there will be a no dumping policy in effect, so what you bring with you and dont sell or swap you will bring home with you.

Just so all know this a Toyota event not just a 86 event. So bring anything you have for sale that is Toyota or even relates to Toyota!!

yep, that was the genreal idea. we had a bit of a discussion about it and thought fuck it!

as beau said its not AE86 specific, ive got a set of ma60 calipers, discs and brand spankers ENDLESS brake pads ill be bringing along with me plus a bunch of other stuff i wont be needing..

Hopefully this will get bigger and cater to all Toyotas. Unfortunately it was AE excessive but kudos to the organisers for putting it on. As I said, hopefully it'll grow with better support from people.

also came out for a look see, there was a metalic green series 2 m65 crown for sale at $2500,

problem with this swap meet was everyone knows what its worth and asking a premium, as i didnt see any bargains like other more traditional swap meets,

yes it was corolla heavy, but it should grow strongly if we keep at it and support it.

Thats why you 'SWAP', not just sell stuff..... Works much better that way, both parties can be happy then
