MX83 cressida power windows fault

Hi , i have done a search here but the results didn't help.
My drivers side front window moves down but now will not come up ... has been a progressive problem, the speed has gotten slower with time... it would sometimes come up if i played with the switch flicking if upwards repetitively. The other windows work fine ... i have pulled the switch apart and cleaned both sets of contact points with no luck. If i press the switch to the down position you can here the solenoid trip in but there is no sound or movement when moved to the upwards position. Any help or suggestions , thanks !

Replace the switch, then the motor. In that order.
