    Hi ,just getting stuff sorted for my swap, what sump arrangement do i need for the swap, cheers'

    you will need a rear sump off a soarer or supra, you can find a few on here ATM, and if your Xmember isnt the facelift one you will need a JZA70 Xmember also but that makes the whole deal just bolt in

    thanks for that, how can i tell if my xmember is the right one for the swap?currently is a 7mgte

    you would have to hunt around this site to see if you can get some height measurments off someone as i think the jza70 mount points are 20mm lower than the mz21 mount points as i found out when i changed my xmember when i did my conversion but what grill and tail lights does your car have? as if its the series 2 parts you might be safe as late 88 model and from there have the needed Xmember

    Hi there, my grille looks like a honeycomb, not the slats type, , what am i looking for in the tail lights that make it different?

    the series 2 ones are all horizontal lines, not like the ones that i have on my car at the start of my build thread

    Or easiest thing. Buy a whole JZA70 supra front cut. Transfer everything over and do it that way. It will work out alot easier and alot less headaches.

    well thats what i did but i did use the correct crossmember tho too, makin new ones was cheaper and quicker for me personlly so yeah
