We found out that one of the flywheels we had machined wasn't straight, AFTER PULLING IT OUT OF A BLOODY GT4!!!
Only 10,000kms old, but the half mill taper caused the outside to wear premeturely leaving the inner part of the friction plate almost new.
And the AW11 BGB doesn't mention anything about the step or even machining it. There's a check for runout, but that's it. It more than 0.1mm out, in the bin.
The spanner in my avatar is actually a 16mm, that's why it's still new
