    Default head bolts 7mgte?

    hey,
    im just in the process of replacing the head gasket in my mz20 and was just wanting to know how in the hell are you supposed to get to the head bolts in the 7m, as there is little to no room, is there a special tool i need to get or what,

    yeah you need a 10mm HEX bit to get to it and you need the long version of them too. Good luck with it

    yeah, thanks for that mate. it was getting dark so i couldnt see the bolts i thought they just had stantard hex heads, but they were circular with the hex inside. in other words, problem solvered...

    they are an allan key head. you can buy the 10mm allan head bit from a hardware shop adapted to a 1/2" shank socket...

    Cheaper still is to get a 10mm allen key and cut it just before the bend with an angle grinder. Then go to bunnings and find the large box of 1/2" sockets they all have for $1 each. Buy the 10mm socket and stick the long 10mm allen bit in!
