mine was also last registered in victoria.... so when you say "relevant conditional registration papers" you mean proof of ownership and vicroads paperwork?
thanks
Hi,
No, it only needs a pink slip.
When I brought Ronnie up from, Victoria I was under the impression it would need a blue slip, seeing it has come from interstate. However, I read the NSW RTA rules governing conditional registration and it only mentions a pink slip.
I took her to my mechanic, who also thought it would require a blue slip, but I told him to just do a pinky. He was doubtful of this, but did only a pink slip. I took the pink slip to the RTA, along with the relevant conditional registration papers, and she was put onto historic plates with no problems.
So, no... you do not need a blue slip, just a pink slip.

Hi,
No. I mean the necessary paper work you need to fill out for conditional registration. I thnk the links to these are on the first page of this thread. You print them out and fill them in. Toymods needs to stamp them and then you take these forms to the RTA and get your plates.
You needs to be a financial member of Toymods Car Club to get the plates.

Hi
Does anyone know of a mechanic that does pink slips for historic plates in the Penrith area?

question once on historics can you revert back to normal plates? i mean if you bought a car from another state chucked it on historics for a year then placed it on normal plates you wouldnt have to get a blue slip??
Yeah ya'd have to get a blueslip cause to derigister the historics you have to hand the plates back, so that means your car is unregistered.
Cheers, Greg.
Jeri,
Anywhere that does pink slips is legally supposed to have a manual pink slip book.

Definate yes on the blue slip needed. My car was on historics just before I bought it and it had to have a blue slip for rego.
