p/s arms from ra60 celica's and rt142 corona's, but you will then gain more positive camber so you then need longer control arms to offset this (use sigma arms)
hi,
i have a set of GT Carina struts sitting in the front of my T18 at the moment...
i put them in today and have come to the realisation that the steering arms are incredibly long...
does any know what can be used for shorter steering arms?
more specifically, is there anything locally that can be used?
any help is really appreciated,
Cheers

cheers mate,
yeh im going to need to use longer control arms anyway, as i have just done a rack and pinion conversion on the t18, the rack has a bolt on lock spacer, so i have no adjustment in my tie-rods...
are sigma's going to push it out abit too far though?
na it should been fine as changing your struts also gave you positive camber so you will only end up with maybe 1.5 deg of negative camber?

ah no worries then...
just didnt want the -5 camber usually associated with sigma's...
cheers man
i put GH sigma arms in my RT142 corona, and I got pretty much a negligible amount of camber until I put in my coilovers with camber tops...
my 5c worth!
are the RT142 / RA60 p/s arms shorter than the standard RT142/ RA60 arms?
might be a cheap way to increase lock for me (already have a steering spacer, but 4 turns lock to lock fails)
yeah they're shorter.
