Default G series diff with factory torsen lsd

Hey guys ive got an hilux g series diff with a factory supra torsen lsd.. Its been recondition prior to me buying it.. I am finding it hard to lock up 100% on corners and some times hard to control .. Does the torsen lsd act this way randomly ? Also is there a kaaz 2way availiable for the g series diff or would i be better of locking it up for skidpans and skids

yer it seems that way... How do these diff centers go welded ? any breakages besides welds etc..
Its just interesting to find that the torsen lsd diff is not only giving me problems. Any other comments.

Do you find it sometimes it only spins 1 wheel on corners ?

yes you can get kaaz centers for the live axle g series for around $1400.
you can get a full spool for $340

are you going to be using it for a daily or just a fun machine ?
locked diff's in the wet can be really anoying.

Its only a weekend driver and grip days so i wanna keep it safe would the locker effect hard cornering besides oversteer ?.I hardly drive it on weekdays so not to worried about driveability in car parks

locked diff's will cuase understeer into a corner as the rear wheels are trying to push the vehicle forward and not letting one wheel slip, you will just have to get used to it and work with it.
    or try a kaaz.

We have found that locked or welded diffs for track use are fine,
but would not recommend it for the road esp in the wet.

and we had a few torsens in a levin behind a 2jzgte and found some randomly had issues at speed, never could get them to operate correctly no matter how they were pulled apart and re-assembled, so just had to replace them.

hrm, sucks to be you... the torsen in my JZA80 is beautiful. Obviously not as nice as a 2-way would be on the track, but it is very nice, and completely streetable. Sounds like some of them are quirky

There were improvements made on the JZA80 Torsen over the G-series equivalent, so that's probably why. My Truetrac was also awesome with no single legging.

I'd say its more a design issue with the JZA70 torsen. I'm really yet to hear anybody say they are happy with it.

That said, there are very very few people have been unhappy about the aftermarket torsen's.
